Specifications

The TCL Tab 8 LE has an 8-inch LCD screen with a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution. It is quite small and compact compared to most tablets on the market, measuring 197x125x9mm and weighing 310 grams. A MediaTek quad-core processor and 3GB RAM power the slate. Internal storage is 32GB, but it can be increased to 512GB with a microSD card.

Features

The front and back of the tablet both have a single 5MP camera. A large 4080mAh battery powers the device as it charges over a USB-C connector, allowing for some kind of quick charging. There is only one nano SIM slot on the slate, but WiFi is also available. Additionally, the tablet has a 3.5mm headphone jack for plugging in the headphones and is WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and 4G LTE network compatible.

Price & Availability

The TCL Tab 8 LE is priced at $159, which is a very reasonable price compared to the other tablets in the market. There is currently no information on when the tab will be globally available; however, it will be accessible on T-Mobile and Metro in the American market.
