Display
The two models of the Acer Nitro XV5 line will be distinguishable by their native resolutions, with one operating at 1440p and the other at 4K. Although they can both be overclocked to 200 Hz, the duo also offers refresh rates of 144 Hz and 160 Hz, respectively. Although, overclocking these monitors, just like most other gaming monitors, can reduce their response times to 0.5 ms. It is not yet known how Acer has measured these response times using GTG or MPRT.
Specifications
The Nitro XV5 series includes AMD FreeSync Premium to lessen image tearing as well as HDMI 2.1 connectivity for compatibility with high-end graphics cards and current-generation gaming consoles. Full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K and 120 Hz gaming are also included in these monitors.
Connectivity
The USB hub for the Nitro XV5 series will allow 65 W USB Type-C charging. According to Acer, the USB hub is compatible with a KVM switch for peripherals, rests above an adjustable stand, and features VESA 75 x 75 mm wall mount connectors.
Price & Availability
The Acer Nitro XV5 Monitors will start selling at a price of $430. They will be available in the European market later this month. It is also expected to arrive in the international market after a month or so. Whenever it arrives, it will be available through Acer’s official website.
