Design
The Pro model has a slimmer design than the other Xiaomi phones. The phone also features a square camera module on the back panel and is IP68-certified to be resistant to dust and water. The nano-skin technology that is included in the smartphone is also believed to make the back panel simpler to clean. It also comes with dual speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos on the audio front. The Xiaomi 13 Pro also provides a 6.73-inch QHD+ display with curved edges.
Display
The Xiaomi 13 Pro features a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout, an AMOLED display, and an embedded fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG and has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,900 nits. The colours available for the Xiaomi 13 Pro are White, Black, Green, and Light Blue.
Specifications
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU from Qualcomm is found inside the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The smartphone also comes equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage capacity. It also has an internal heat dissipation system for liquid cooling. The powerful 4,820mAh battery cells power the Xiaomi 13 Pro and allow 67W and 120W cable charging.
The Surge G1 charging protection chip used in this phone supports 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 is the default operating system for the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The range of connectivity choices includes 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, and a USB-C connector.
Cameras
Leica-branded triple back cameras are available on the Xiaomi 13 Pro. With 50MP primary, 50MP ultra-wide, and 50MP telephoto lenses, the Pro model has a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. The front-facing 16MP selfie camera is present on the smartphone for high-quality selfies. Additionally, the Leica technology for improving imaging is also included with the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Price & Availability
For the Xiaomi 13 Pro, different variations are available. They cost $718 for 8GB + 128GB, $775 for 8GB + 256GB, $833 for 12GB + 256GB, and $905 for 12GB + 512GB, respectively. They are currently up for pre-order on Xiaomi’s official website and will go on sale globally on December 14th.
