The New Games
An Assassin’s Creed game with settings in the Mediterranean, the Aztec Empire, and India are reportedly in production, along with the known Nexus sequel. This pitch was created by Ubisoft Sofia, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation (2012) and Assassin’s Creed Rogue (2014). The working title’s current codename is Project Nebula.
Ubisoft Chengdu proposed a four-player, co-op, PvE Assassin’s Creed game. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game was previously co-created by Ubisoft Chengdu. Currently, the title is known by the codename Project Raid.
Another Assassin’s Creed multiplayer game that makes use of Scalar technology from the developer. The pitch was created by the Ubisoft Annecy team, which had created the multiplayer components for earlier Assassin’s Creed games. Currently, the title is known only as Project Echoes.
Future Updates
Ubisoft Studios is going all in with AC and some other important titles. In the video game industry, plans are frequently revised, and some initiatives fail even before they are formally announced. Fans will just have to wait and see what’s in store for the future, but it wouldn’t be shocking to learn that Ubisoft has so many new Assassin’s Creed games planned.
