Design
The Anker Soundcore VR P10 earphones feature a simple yet refined design, which comes with ergonomic tuning to help them perfectly fit the human ears. You get a single-colour, two-tone finish, with a more mattified off-white look on the top and a glossy pearl white finish on the sides and the buds themselves. Even the eartips have a brilliant white finish, which will, unfortunately, fade into a myriad of colours as you put them to good use.
The earbuds can be stored and recharged in a new case, which has been redesigned to make space for an additional connectivity dongle, which helps you pair wirelessly with your personal VR headsets, thanks to low-latency audios syncing capabilities. The dongle even has an extra USB-C pass-through port on the front, so you can charge your VR device while also transmitting high-quality audio signals.
Internals
The earbuds feature a pair of 11mm drivers, which are supported by a 4-mic beamforming setup that enables crystal-clear audio, whether it be simple music playback or video/audio calls. You get decent sound output, with the majority of focus on the mids and vocals. The bass is limited by the obvious size constraint, but it still managed to offer a decent showing.
Due to the USB dongle, you can take advantage of the LS3 codec, as well as Soundcore's own Lightning Sync wireless tech, which cuts down the sync latency to as low as 30ms. The earbuds even feature a special multi-device pairing system that can work with up to four dongles at a time, so you can easily transfer connectivity between various devices. This makes it a pretty capable audio setup, which can easily be used with your standalone VR setups, as well as consoles and PC gaming rigs.
The inbuilt battery can allow all of these functions, and more, for up to 6 hours on a single charge. You can expand this up to 24 hours of listening experience with help from the case. The case and the earbuds can be simultaneously charged through a regular USB-C charger, with the option for basic fast charging available to keep the charging times to a minimum.
