Xiaomi Redmi Band 2 Teased

With A Revamped Design

Redmi Bands, when released, were a game-changer in the smart wearable market and gained huge popularity. It became one of the most successful products of Redmi. Now, a launch ceremony for the Redmi Band 2 is scheduled by Redmi. The smart wearable will be showcased at an event alongside some other Redmi products. Just a few days before the presentation, the company has now shared some information about the next band, including the display.

Design

The Redmi Band 2, which will be the upgraded version of the original Redmi Bands, will make its debut. The wearable will debut with updated styling and additional capabilities. The smart band will have a 1.47-inch big screen, which is 79% larger than the display area of the model from the previous generation, according to recent brand teasers. The thickness will be 9.99mm.

Specifications

Just like the first Redmi Band, the Band 2 will have a 1.08-inch TFT colour display screen, a technology for continuously measuring heart rate and numerous training modes. It will have a battery that lasts up to 14 days and is conveniently rechargeable via direct USB. It also enables sedentary reminders and sleep tracking.

Price & Availability

The Redmi Band went on sale for $14. The Band 2 will probably cost more because of the deteriorating economic climate and supply chain concerns. It will be unveiled at the Redmi launch event on December 27. It is expected to launch globally soon, including all the e-commerce websites and offline stores of Xiaomi.
